Hello, my name is Xiao Lin and I am a Mandarin teacher from China. I graduated from Guangxi Normal University, a university well-known for training teachers and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. I am a native speaker of Mandarin and hold a standard Chinese speaking certificate with a score of 89, which is 1 point from being at the level of a national news reporter. I have experience working as a local Chinese news reporter + 3 years of experience teaching Mandarin to foreigners.

I am fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, English,and I have a passion for languages and teaching. I have also been trained as an English teacher and have worked as a teacher for almost 2 years.

Chinese may seem hard at first, but with dedication and the right approach, it is definitely not impossible to learn.

We will focus on learning the oral part of the language and use Pinyin as support. The best way to learn is to use the language as quickly as possible. We will focus on building sentences by using new words and combining them with the ones you already know. Pronunciation is especially important in Chinese, so we will focus on it at the beginning.
